Thought the team was absolutely immense today every one of them. Didn't really see what Reinildo was sent off for at the match but seen it since I got home - as Captain Mainwaring used to say - "Stupid boy!".

Thought Rigg was growing into the game but he was the substitution I thought would come off. The back 3 absolutely kept Villa at bay but thought Roeffs was unlucky with the goal, he got a hand to it but just couldn't keep it out.

Sadiki was all over the shop, thought Talbi had a good game and how good was it to see Hume wipe Rodgers out?

I was also pleased to see Neil come on at the end and Xhaka just giving him pointers on where to go.

A fully deserved point, Villa were shocking considering the players they have. Another game where we haven't looked out of place in this league

True, Villa were poor.

But we kept hearing this every week last season. The other team was always poor, we all said it!

But it's too much of a coincidence. We are very, very well coached. Today was absolutely text book on how to play with ten men against a good side.

I agree with your points but I was expecting a lot more from villa. I like the look of Watkins and he never really had a look in today, same with Rodgers. I think there something seriously wrong there, they're in the bottom 3 for a reason but we look good as a side in this league, loved Dan Ballard as the middle centre half stepping into midfield, he looked really comfortable

So 8 points from 5 matches, by my calculations that form over the season sees us finish on 60 points. I think thats right anyway? <laugh>

What we rekcon out of the next 3? Forest, Utd and WoWolvesis 7 asking for too much <laugh>
I reckon we will get 6 points. But I really hope Wolves change their name to WoWolvesis, that would be superb <cheers>:emoticon-0105-wink:

I'm asking for 9 mate

Forest and wolves are there for the taking imo, with forest in transition and wolves having lost to Leeds. man u aren't much better.

I reckon 6 aswell but seriously no reason for these lads to be worried about any of the 3 of them!

Is anyone else itching for the next one already? Its the excitement of seeing what they can do for me, they haven't even got going properly imo. Newly promoted, early days for most of them playing together there is ever chance they could improve quite a bit overwhelming next 5 or so matches!

I was thinking its possible but didnt want to say it out loud mate <laugh>

Worth noting there’s been a lot of talk around AFCON - wasn’t many africans in the team today. Sadiki will be the obvious miss and Talbi in my opinion was probably the worst player on the pitch for us(minus Reinaldo) I think we’d be just fine coping without him for a few games.

FWIW I do think Talbi shows glimpses but he’s far too soft and is really lacking confidence, he goes back more than he goes forward. No doubt he will grow into the season though.

I hope so. We've smashed the market this summer but he's the one player that stands out and makes me scratch my head how he's worth 20m.

I hope things change with him. On a side note, i cant wait to have Mundle back next month

If there are so many poor teams we should be staying up easy hahahahaha.

We've got a great chance of turning Manure over at their place. As a team, we are everything they hate playing against.

Get what ya saying like. Seems very development level so far, as in shows bits but its just not all slotted together yet! So 20m seems a lot but let's hope we are laughing about this come the end of the season as he is worth 40m.

But even if he isn't I am quite confident we under paid for Roefs and Alderete and Mukiele is also looking a steal!

Watched the game with my 4 month old Grandson today,...
Thought we were excellent today, both with 11 and with 10.
Still cant believe some of the signings we've made, and how quick they've developed into a team. We absolutely look Premier League quality.

Anyway, little Ronan approved....

I've really liked him so far, hope he gets some time on the left though. Took more people on in that spell today than he has the rest of the season, definitely seemed more comfortable there from what I've seen of the game.
