That moment when we get a corner, you get excited for half a second then realise we've no chance of scoring from it.
I think that was the first corner that Elanga took. His delivery looked a ****-tonne better than Trippiers, it doesn't take much granted but there were a hell of a lot more dangerous (and cleared the first man).
Yeah, and then about 2 corners later, Elanga went over again, but Trippier ushered him away. Only to then fluff it.
Trippier needs to retire. Blowing out his arse at this stage of a season says it all, and he hasn’t put a corner of note in for about 3 years. Weirdly we have a set piece coach but I imagine he has as much success convincing Howe to change as our recruitment team does.
How did they calculate this? All time? All leagues, or just Premier league or top flight in its entirety?
No idea, all from stats that these “experts “ love to analyse. Obviously it does vary though. Apparently was quite high in the PL last season. Not here obviously.
I don't get why we don't try the floater to Burn more often like the cup final, might aswell, only thing that's worked.
Agree with Toonboy, why do we try these ridiculous set pieces when we have Botman, Burn and Woltemade. Just stick a floating ball into the middle of the box and have them lunge for it/kick the **** out of it. Done and dusted. I hate to say it, but it ****ing worked when we had Bruce.
