I nearly said 'no need for sat nav, it won't be going far', but thought no, he's not that predictable surely. I was wrong.<doh>
I do want the air-conditioning working this time though.

Sat nav now working fine - took me to Sainsburys yesterday no problem. <ok>

Got the FOC airbag recall sorted earlier this week down at Sytners' in Swansea. Booked it in for 8.15 am and was told it would be about an hour. A couple of coffees later in the customer waiting area I was brought the keys by my allocated "service adviser" at 9.15 spot on and went on my way.

Complimentary vehicle health check included show all green ticks in the boxes with only the front and rear brake pad check boxes bearing the amber "advisory" notice of requiring attention soon. They only wanted £543.26 to replace them when I'm ready. <doh>

Went down to Staffordshire today to help daughter and partner do some work at the farm they've got the tenancy for.
The council are putting a new kitchen in, so we ripped the old one out and turned it into a bonfire. Quite therapeutic destroying stuff.
Its a 100 year old farmhouse. Scarey to see whats behind the walls. Some of the wiring was the sort of stuff Sparkey would have got up to as an apprentice.
Cables running diagonally across the walls, looped through holes in the carcass of units.
The plumbing wasn't much better.
The cost of the kitchen will be one thing. Given the state of the walls, the cost of fitting will be another story.

I was based in Stafford in the early 70's doing my time (no, not prison) but it wasn't me.

Newport Parkrun at Tredegar House and then visiting the grandkids. The Reading crew are down as my son in law and daughter are doing the CDF 10K on Sunday.
I haven’t forgotten about Porthcawl Parkrun Bluey. Been a change in circumstances so a few things to rearrange. Will let you know when we are definitely visiting. Mrs Irish and Rumney are buying the coffees!

Today I have mostly been farming.
Daughter and partner moving in to their tennant farm tomorrow. The last 3 weeks have been 'getting things ready'.
A lot of focus on getting the house painted top to bottom and getting the furniture in.
Today was fencing a field ready for the older calves to go in and bedding up the shed the younger ones are going in.
Unloaded a load of kit they bought at a farm dispersal sale as well.
Daughter took a couple of horses down this evening in convoy with her friends husband taking 14 calves.
The rest of the calves going down tomorrow then the rest of the horses and the sheep later in the week.
Just having a beer, then a shower and bed. Im too old for this $h!t.:emoticon-0113-sleep
