Ireland game is watchable without having any quality whatsoever. Armenia look awful but physical. Ireland look marginally better than awful but physical. Old school ground, poor pitch.
Appreciate Tuchel’s games to this point have been drab but considering Serbia are playing a deep 5-4-1 with basically no ambition beyond keeping the ball out the box I think it’s been reasonably good. Needs a goal of course which Kane should have provided a few minutes ago. With the various permutations I don’t know and can’t be bothered to look up if Serbia are guaranteed a playoff but they’ve got a genuine chance of winning the group if they win this. Maybe the plan is to keep it 0-0 and go for it late. Yay 1-0.
