Ben Davies captained Wales to a hard-earned 1-0 win in Kazakhstan. He's now on 96 caps and the top three outfield players for Wales have all played for Spurs. Gareth Bale: 111, Chris Gunter: 109 and him. Brennan Johnson also played.
Pape Matar Sarr scored Senegal's second in a 2-0 win over Sudan: https://streamain.com/en/sX5Uvy3C3RUFcqR/watch Awful quality clip but it's a nice touch and finish. Not sure who got the assist, but it may be Koulibaly, who also scored the other goal.
Don't get me wrong, in most ways I'm delighted that Spence didn't risk his fitness today, but FFS, how is Lewis-Skelly still on?
Tuchel is a better manager but I don’t think he’s suited to the England job. I just can’t get over the fact a German is England manager. It’s just not right
So much for Cristian Romero only caring about playing for Argentina He's suspended for their match against Ecuador
Still a week away to the next Spurs game. With all that has happened it seems like a lifetime. I hope Frank is not too distracted by all the comings and goings. He's just getting his feet under the table and the table is moved.
Frank will soon learn if he hasn’t already that it’s never dull being manager of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club
It's a big change from the small almost family club of Brentford to the multi national corporate world of one of the worlds richest football clubs. He comes across as a cool guy so I am sure he'll take it all in his stride.
PSG are (rightly) ****ed off that Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele both came back from the international break early due to injuries So it does happen to other teams?
It shouldn’t have made a great deal of difference. Vinai Venkatesham has been CEO for his time with us. Daniel shouldn't have had cause to have much of a relationship with TF. Of course, we all know that's not how DL worked. He will have been all over the new coach, like a cheap suit (size XS). As far as most sporting employees are concerned, it's one less person to indulge, who has minimal knowledge. So, it should be all good, with a cherry of 'more focus on being successful on the pitch' on top. Happy days!
They told the French coaching team and medics that they were injured and not to play them. They did it anyway. Disgustingly disrespectful, especially given the ridiculous depth they have. They could probably pick an U21 team and win their fixtures.
Mathys Tel with a cracking strike to put France U21s 1-0 up against Serbia: https://streamain.com/en/dKDEZYtMvph4u5J/watch He seems to be playing as a striker with Odobert on the right, judging by the lineups.
