Good win for the 18s at Fleetwood. Another penalty against. Plenty against across the teams. Have we had any for us? https://tv.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/videos/c772201a-7e4c-4091-94f6-96e72f56c966
The 18s and 21s results are all the more impressive when you think how many are with the first team. With a couple more out on loan, it won't get any easier for them.
Given the number of players taken by thev1st team, a creditable draw for the 21s against udders yesterday. Their free kick to open the scorer was a blinder. Good build up play for a couple of our chances. https://tv.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/videos/9e21f11a-0060-489c-8ff5-39913b9ec75c
City under 21's beat Watford away this afternoon 0-2......... Troy Perret got one of them so he won't be involved for the first team tomorrow. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/2025/september/19/under-21-watford-0-2-cardiff-city/
Very strange (almost spookey) that our under 21's are playing Burnley tomorrow night at the same time we're playing them in the Carabao Cup. Does that mean we'll be starting a lot of senior players up there rather than youngsters, or will Pursey have a to make do with the under 18 squad?
Credit to the accademy coaches. It must be rewarding to see the fruits of their labour in the 1st team, but it must be frustrating to keep having the heart ripped out of their teams. Recent results suggest there is a conveyor of players coming in behind. I know they recruited for the accademy in the summer, and you can see why they needed to.
After twice being behind, the 18s secure a 2-4 win at Coventry. And we actually got awarded a penalty. https://tv.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/videos/4072772f-82b2-4ff4-bfd8-0736ab51b9c7
The production line continues - another feather in the cap for our academy with a resounding win earlier today................. https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/u17-cardiff-city-6-0-port-vale
