Baz has just posted the below on his live blog:

Loads of questions on Reda Laalaoui
Have just had a call about Laalaoui, and it looks like that deal won't be done before the deadline. But word is that he will still be a City player at some point in the near future

Technically yes. But they won’t because any player they have that’s good enough to be a Hull City player will be needed by them. They don’t exist just to provide us with players.

It’s like Watford and Udinese, if they smash it for Watford they end up there, depriving Watford of their best players.
Why do they exist then? What purpose do they actually serve?

Bought/sold at Man City for suspected ffp reasons.

He played a total of 1 minute for Leeds in the championship, and 7 minutes in the prem.

Played in a Plymouth team that got relegated.

No I’m not suggesting we buy players from champions league clubs, just pointing out we’re buying ****e thanks to Acun.
Silly **** of the day goes to…

Great just what we need another player missing for the African Cup of Nations......
See below
He’s English
It's been debunked as nonsense so not sure what you're worrying about?
Shame, because a couple of season ago he was excellent for QPR...and touted as one who'd end up in the Premier League....Not sure what Middlesbrough did to him for them to want to trade him in....
Middlesbrough..poor lad!! After been up there, Hull must seem like "Shangri-La"

On Abu Kamara
Led to believe Swansea City are the Championship club we've been alluding to in the past few days that have shown interest in Abu Kamara. If the Getafe move collapses, then that may be an option. From Madrid to the Mumbles.

We don’t half **** about. What’s the turnaround to get Hadžiahmetović signed before 7pm if Kamara goes soon? Do we still have to **** about getting the EFL’s approval or is that just a formality and Hadžiahmetović can be ratified as soon as Kamara officially goes?

Looks like a done deal, we just need Kamara to go for the EFL to sign off on it. I’m just not sure Swansea will have enough time to pull it off if the Getafe move falls through

How many good Watford players have ended up there? The two clubs have different owners from the same family. They help each other out but it's not the same relationship as other MCOs

Worse than that imo is the wrestling. I want to watch football not some hybrid mix of football and wrestling. Not just meaning at set pieces either, it's happening all over the field in open play too, and deliberately blocking off runs off the ball with no punishment.
Yes! Drives me mad. It's very common to see at kick off a striker run towards the ball to block the hoof upfield and be blocked off by another player. Never penalised.

Word coming from Spain is that Getafe's move for Kamara is finally, finally, finally and finally concluded. Approved by the Spanish FA who cancelled their afternoon siesta to get it signed off. Everybody take a great sigh of relief, not least Abu, who gets to spend a season in Madrid.
