Probably a desperation for such a high value transfer to work out. Not least because we’ve had some many fumbles with our higher priced transfers that it seems like the club is just allergic to bidding over 20m for anyone. And it took us to where we are now This was brought up the other day but look at Bournemouth. They had no such reservations and have signed more players in a high value bracket and are now moving them on for around 50m each. We hit big with an occasional big sale for a big profit and they have done it with several players. The fear is that we get promoted and carry on trying to sign players for under 20m due to how much we’ve been burnt
F1 comes to town, most at our local are Maxie fans, not crowing as much this season. One or two think he's a chip off the block of his less than savoury father and may have suffered abuse during his early karting career. I'll keep an eye on F1 over the week with Saturday's efforts at Carrow road taking precedence along with the unfolding transfer sagas.
Stats don't look that amazing. What's the reason a lot of our fans are raving about this potential signing?
If Everton fans only looked at Dibling’s stats, they would be underwhelmed. I’ve never seen this chap either though, so I’m not saying anything about him til he plays in a Saints shirt. Looks fast is about all I can say with confidence.
Well, started in Antwerp, obviously Belgium, then Brugge, Middleburg, then a Dutch friend the other side of Zirekzee. The beach was fantastic and was Westernschouwen.
Zeeland is lovely the flood barrages an engineering feat, the Dutch are world leaders in water management. I'm using fawanews.sc to stream games it works fine on phone and lappy where we are a bit north of the Hague. Oh and the Hoogvliet supermarket in our town has Texel Skuumkoppe at €9.99 for 12 bottles this week.
I guess some of the departures will be last day so the new club can start paying them as late as possible Otherwise I don’t understand why so many go to the last day
