Had 3 or 4 good seasons from 2019 but gone very much Kanga since then. Injury prone and on big wages. Doesn't fit with BBM's philosophy in a number of ways.
Just need Daland and Chambers out now. The only bits I don't like, undisclosed fee, 4 year contract. Good first interview. https://tv.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/videos/d81ed372-4d51-4996-b407-159007a0aca2
Unless someone comes in for Chambers he’s an experienced player who may be invaluable despite his lack of physicality and speed as the season rolls on. I thought Daland had gone.
Im ambivalent on Chambers. With his experience, he should be a shoe in, but isn't. Osho will just push him further down the pecking order. Probably an expensive bench warmer. In BBMs last interview he said Daland wasn't fully engaged in training as he was with his agents speaking to other clubs. How much of the reported £3.5m will we recoup?
Looks like he nearly has - on loan........................... https://sportwitness.co.uk/cardiff-city-player-set-to-leave-medical-taking-place/
Hopefully the option to buy has a decent number next to it. It's a struggle to comprehend how so much has been wasted. A £3.5m centre back should be nailed on 1st choice at our level.
Don't want to be tinkering with a winning formula. And seeing as I'd been hoping for it for long enough with previous managers, I'm happy with 4231.
Another Man U youngster - following in the footsteps of Fish? https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/u21-jack-kingdon-joins-bluebirds
Should be a good addition. Got time to grow into the club before challenging for the first team in a year or so.
I still don't think the oposition realises our current position is nothing to do with a raft of signings. Quite the opposite. If Osho makes half the impact Trott has, he'll be doing ok. Fingers crossed Trott isn't a one off in terms of BBM's judgement on signings.
