Some posts on the last couple of pages definitely seem pant-pissy to me.

People asking "why the club are doing this" (they haven't done anything yet that we know of except reject bids for Hughes), someone saying they "dread to think" what the squad will look like after the window closes (it's really not that uncertain is it; worst case scenario we lose two good players but also there's no suggestion we're going to accept the Pandur bid and we've already rejected the Hughes one), someone else speculating about McCarthy being one of our starting CBs by September. It's not really just discussion of the bids, it's people getting very carried away.

We got too high after a decent start (despite obvious flaws), and now people are getting too low after a couple of bids received. As football fans do.

Yes people always go way OTT, it's just football.

I like Ivor but £5m is a lot and I do think we can pick up a solid keeper on loan before the end of the window.

Hughes is a little different and I don't think he'll end up at Coventry. I completely understand why they're trying but it makes more sense to hold until next summer.

No he’s the best in the division comfortably. Not great with his feet either though

Is Johansson going to get interest from the PL?

I'm aware Johansson isn't good with his feet, that's why I picked him for the comparison. He's also not the best in the division, Cooper is.

The problem is that all our incoming deals need to be rubber stamped by the EFL. I would expect losing the two players, under normal circumstances wouldn’t be an issue. But we are not in normal circumstances.

EFL are not going to pass then in two days either.

Don't they sell much 'Trampwear' in Hull?

There's 2 Primarks in Glasgow, both rammed on a daily basis and the fights for discounted jeggings are positively ferocious at times...Govanhill just wouldn't be Govanhill without that particular item of expensive fashion being worn by the hoi-polloi:emoticon-0147-emo:

I used to work on Allison Street, 2 weekly drops of smack and the whole place was like a scene out of Thriller!

Raskin is getting forced out at Rangers, he would be an incredible loan signing, long shot I know and I’m not sure if we have space with everything going on, I’m just thinking out loud.

Hilarious.

Good to see several others calling out the ridiculous posts.
If the club was "up **** creek" financially then make no mistakes there would have been a fire sale and both Hughes and Panda, and others, would have been long gone, not to mention the obvious point that we wouldn't be spending big on wages for certain incomings. One or both might still reluctantly be sold but the club is clearly trying it's best to resist.
And then calling the owner an utter ****. Wow, just wow. Wtf is wrong with some people.
These ridiculous posts speak volumes about the posters.
