Yes, there is that. But it is a precarious occupation.

In the Championship, were we were when Tommy signed for Brighton, we could nowhere near match their offer.

Some estimates have as high as twenty percent of footballers retire through injury and not if you like, through time. This can happen anytime.

Most will leave the game. They might only get one chance to get set up and I would never begrudge them taking it.
They might but I’d suggest that’s not why he had his head turned

How by constantly running into a crowd of players, getting into good positions and then not knowing what to do?
He's literally not good enough at this level mate just admit it. Ill reiterate what ive said previously. Ill never slag him off, he's been a top signing for us but its time him and us moved on from eachother
By creating chances, most of the chances we created he was involved in. The reverse pass to put Rigg clean through being 1 of them, not many players in the squad would of seen or made a pass like that

Ill just put this out there and you can have your own personal opinion on whether you think he's Prem quality or not and ill have mine..

totally agree with what you’re saying. His final product is so poor, it proved last night again. Wrong pass, over hit, poor cross etc. great running with the ball but no end product
He is frustrating at times, but to say he had no end product is wrong, what about his great reverse pass to put Rigg in, not his fault that someone else doesn't finish the chances he created

Everyone knows he needs to score more goals, but he creates a lot of chances for others which isn't on those stats. He may not be good enough for premier league but I think he will be. He might not start games but he would be atleast a good option off the bench as he creates chances as shown last night

Mate just get over it, he's not good enough ffs. Infact he's pretty shyte right now tbf. He needs to go for his own benefit and ours

Its not wrong though is it, one 'reverse pass' doesn't takeaway from the hundreds of chances we've personally seen him waste, the stats don't lie

Yeah sorry no end product is abit harsh. But he miss placed more than he hits, his stats prove it. To be honest, if he had a proper final product he wouldn’t have signed for us in league 1. His dribbling is brilliant when he’s on his game but most of the time his shots, cross or final pass let him down.

I think he’s at an age now where he’s at his peak and creates opportunities for others. He’s only scored 7 goals for us though, and is never going to finish like Watson did tonight. I think we’ve outgrown him and could do with someone like Buonanotte on loan and let him find a new club. Would love to see him back at Celtic.

I'm expecting 3 or 4 more as at the moment the team that will face Brighton, Leeds, Man City, Tottenham, Brentford and Palace will be Roefs, Hume, Alderete, Lucemi (assuming he signs) Cirkin (if fit) Neil (if he signs new deal) Le Fee, Rigg, Roberts, Mundle (if fit) Mayenda.

If Neil doesn't sign a new deal, currently Alan Browne will play those fixtures, or Harrison Jones if we play Rigg deeper.

Don't get me wrong, we've had a great window, but that side gets at most 3 or 4 points from those fixtures.
I would imagine Browne will be away this week as he wants to play. Fair play to him.
