Honestly don't think you are mate. Neil was one of the better players last night, but it was a low bar. Kept it moving, looked to play forward, always available. He played his own game which is fundamentally that continuity player at the base of the side who is prepared to offer defensive stability. I do wonder if folk want him to play a different role than the coach asks of him at times, hence the angst about him. Plenty were more problematic than Neil last night, but I would be looking to Le Bris and his coaches for the reasons as a first port of call personally.
