Guiu was poor but he scored and that's what he is there to do, mukiele looks like he has all the tools but I think Defo looks like a CB not a RB

Aye, perception is always interesting. I fully acknowledge that I’m not objective so I’m likely overestimating how he played.

I asked someone earlier in the thread but I’m interested to know, do you expect the club to bring five more in and if they don’t do you think the window has been a failure since you think that’s what we need (and that it’s obvious)?

No need to throw the academy lads under the bus. Some of the older lads, like Roberts and Huggins, need to find somewhere that is a good fit for them at this stage of their career.

really need more threat from wide areas. Buonanotte is a good realistic shout. Can’t wait for the window to end, it’s been exhausting following it so god knows how Ghisolfi etc are feeling.

Feels to me like we still need two or three needle moving recruits. Recruits who come in as the best players in the position/on their part of the pitch.
There's a bit of depth there but I think we need that real quality that will drag us through matches and raise the standards of the team/squad.

The question about the window being a failure will be answered come the end of the season and if we stay up imo but so far we have done what has been needed
yeah i do think its obvious - when we have full backs playing CB and strikers playing out wide - and in my opinion there aren't enough goals in the 9 position
I do feel we need more than two but I’m not sure the club will do it. Just hope we get Lucumi and a really good winger. We can’t keep playing a past his best Roberts and a CM on the wing when our main two come off
would be the same answer if we were in league one always good to see a local lad come through the system but we need to be ruthless now
