He needs to understand that unless someone offers what we believe he’s worth (£150m at the very least) that he ain’t going anywhere. He needs to also understand that that ain’t ****ing happening this summer in any case because we have no time to replace him. He can either continue to refuse to play and continue to be fined handsomely for the privilege of doing **** all, or he can pull his big boy pants on and get back in the side and hope that someone comes in for him in Jan or next summer with an offer that we’re willing to entertain!

If someone has to play out of position, why not pick your worst threat instead of handicapping the side? Barnes doesn't even like it here, doesn't seem to really get on, there's no smiles like we saw from Elanga and Osula. Honestly, can we not just send him back to Leicester and take El Khannouss? Performance i have no problem with, Football side with Howe I have no problem with. My issue is with PIF and how they have let this whole situation develop. My other issue is that as a fan base we stlll think we are the plucky underdogs, we have that mentality. We are top 7 now and we can compete with anyone.
