I was thinking about this and wonder if the same criticism gets levelled at players taking their shirts off when scoring or celebrating with the crowd. We never get so critical then. This one was much more needless than the Cov one, but no idea what prompted it.
Taking shirts off is also stupid, but do they always get booked? Plus players don’t always take their shirts off, they know what the potential penalty is.

I honestly don’t know what Jakirović could’ve done differently today to at least get a point. Start Ashbee, who is more physical, instead of McCarthy maybe? McCarthy’s been more impressive in pre-season though.

This squad has nowhere near the depth needed for a 46-game season. We can say we’ve had a good window given the circumstances but we’re still incredibly light. We had one central midfielder on the bench today and it was Shehu, an under-21 player. Puerta and Laalaoui, if registered, would be in the squad. We can complain about Slater being Slater but there’s **** all else available.

Hadžiahmetović would be a good signing but that’s one player. I still think we’d need him plus another for depth and we’re operating on a strict wage cap imposed by the EFL. I struggle to see how the fee restriction is a ‘blessing in disguise’ because we can’t overspend but it’s a mess of our own making and totally avoidable.

Acun Out.

Signing injury prone players to replace durable ones doesn't help.

Sorry, I didn't realise how your forum worked. I'll know for future reference. :emoticon-0148-yes:
People bitch and moan when I get into a back and forth for pages and get catty when I leave it. I've explained my position. If you want to read other people's opinions on ndala they're available including on this page. Otherwise I'm not particularly interested in your sudden obsession with me.

No, it doesn’t. Several of us did say at the time. I would’ve kept one of Jones or McLoughlin in addition to Ajayi. Ajayi’s injury was bound to happen. Famewo’s is a contact injury but there’s still a big question mark over whether he can stay fit. Hughes is a big loss.

Due to the lack of squad depth, selling Simons looks like a bad decision too. We got £300K for him and he wasn’t one of our highest earners.

I doubt we'd have sold simons if we'd seen this coming to be fair.

You claim no one is getting carried away then say he's potentially better than Philogene. <laugh> bloody hell.

The post I was responding to was suggesting he should be our starting winger over all of Millar, Akintola and Kamara. That to me is getting carried away.
Probably was the word that you are looking for.

Obsession? Get over yourself, honestly.
