Would have liked to go to Charlton today but had forgotten it was Bank Holiday weekend and also a lunch htime kick-off so instead will be down in Kent dropping middle daughter at a weekend camping event with a load of ex-Bath Uni types ... might get to watch the game in a pub with a bit of luck ... Watford is by far the easiest for me, living in Hertfordshire, but will also be looking to do QPR this season ... Expect a full unbiased report on today's game from @pieguts in his executive box
Looks like they might have finally sorted themselves out unfortunately. Great goalkeeper for our **** level and the little fat bloke, Manhoef, is better than most of the ****e you’ll see this season. Routine 2-0 home win.
Pretty relaxed about today tbh. We came up via the playoffs and are the bookie’s favourites to go straight back down. Our fight isn’t with Ipswich, Southampton or your mob, who came down last year with a pocket full of money and hopes to go straight back up. Of course I hope it’s not a tonking but I would be happy with a 2-0 loss, as goal difference could be really important at the end of the season.
I'm heading to the charlton match today. Going to put some money on charlton to win so my missus gets really into it
Mate - we should probably have won at Preston - indeed were pressing for a winner when caught on the counter - which really exposed just how slow Vestergaard really is ...your manager should be looking to do similar... isolate him and just run ... we also lack a clinical striker... Ayew ain't bad at holding it up and linking play... but when it comes to burying chances? Nope. Good chance we might start Monga... he'll excite unless you can shackle him ... same with Fatawu... but at this point we don't have anyone to convert the chances they make ... Look forward to getting your thoughts
I'm still not convinced with City yet, their saviour though could be the return of Rodri. i know City walloped Wolves, but that's just Wolves, if they'd had put away half their chances it could have been over early for MC. I really felt in the Wolves game that better opposition wold have got at their confidence. So I expect Spurs to go into a 0-3 lead only to go all Spursy 3-3
