Yeah that’s fair. I should reword my post, wasn’t the whole first half but some spells. Id defo say West Ham controlled that first half but didn’t create too much (diarra and diouf had the only two big chances). Second half they did nowt.
West Ham fan on YouTube saying that police were called to away dressing room at FT due to a fracas and Potter wasnt on the team bus going home.
I believe he is home now. He had run back to his house, realised he had left his wallet in his locker at the ground, ran back for it, then ran home again. He'll be nipping out for a jog later I expect.
Xhaka has been slow his full career. I’m surprised that’s even being brought up. It’s his football brain that puts him in the right positions constantly to intercept and being able to control the game from DM. In the first half, our players weren’t moving for him quick enough, he was constantly pointing and telling the lads where they needed to be when he was on the ball. He understood we needed quicker movement and to move the ball quicker. He was one step ahead all of the time. Second half we done just that and smashed them. Anyway, I think I’ll watch MOTD tonight for the first time in about 10 year
Well that was bloody fabulous. Clean sheet both strikers scored can't really complain. On a side note has the "home end" officially switched to the south end now?
By and large, they are a different level in the PL. He was pretty good, though I thought he should have dealt with a couple of more or less vindictive assaults on big Dan.
Deliberately didn't stay up to watch it so as to not jinx our first game of the season. So ****ing happy i missed it but so gutted that i didn't see it as it happens. Love the hammers fans reactionson socials. Great way to wake up.
Means nothing but was in the Hilton after the match and Juan Sartori checked in. Habib Diarra came in as well, nice lamborghini parked outside.
Just think Xhaka brings so much calm, it's a cracking CM 3 - ridiculous for a newly promoted side tbh
He did what we were all told to do P. Head it back to where it came from. Keeper is always wrong footed when that happens, so there's always a good chance of a goal. Not bad for a lad who can't head mind!
I dont know much about footy but ad say am a big lads fans with a constant boner tneet lets enjoy this
Just sat down at home and trying to take it all in. Don't think I've been this emotional since the Coventry game at home. At Wembley I was just stunned at the result and became emotional afterwards, today - it was just something different. I believe in the players we have but that second half was great to watch.
Never liked that bloke, though I don't particularly wish him ill. But ill he must be, so I hope he gets the treatment he needs.
