The thing is, if we're on a restricted EFL business plan in any case, if we're in danger of busting the overall budget on that anyway, and near to FPP limit, the lifting of the fee restriction or suspension of it -- should it happen -- is pretty irrelevant. Frigan has frigging gone too.
Granted it's a fair while since I studied English at school, but ......

As soon as we signed McBurnie we weren't getting Frigan. Regardless of embargo. We just don't have 7m to spend in this window, and if we had the funds, FFP wouldn't allow it.

FFP doesn’t in any way prevent the signing of an individual player. I’m not sure you are fully sighted on what you are discussing.
It depends if your Kamara and Puerta sales are enough to fill the hole. I can do an excel spreadsheet for them if they need one
You can sign the player, you just need to offset the cost if you are at your limit. There is no prevention.
So we are going to sign a centre mid, left winger and a 7m striker despite having already brought in 2 other strikers this window and offset the lot by flogging Kamara and getting 60% of the profit from Puerta?
It's never been feasible although it technically would be possible if we could create the headroom.
You seemed to wish to argue with the premise that it wasn't going to happen.after bringing in McBurnie on top of Destan.
There's a difference between what's technically possible and what's realistic or feasible.
