My genuine first thought on the bolded bit, pioneers are relevant for progress and innovation. Whenever I looked at football history as a lad, I always looked back to it's beginning, where did it start, how did it evolve, because it's all relevant. It would be like saying when Arsenal won the double in 1971, that the previous three double winners are not relevant, of course they are they set out history, and history at that time was double winners were a rarity, should we just ignore Spurs double win, because it was a decade earlier, I mean I can't remember it, the actual game that is so maybe we should just erase it from history. I'm sure the RA still exist btw.
Anyway I've decided Leicester are not relevant anymore because they are in the Championship, so Fosse no longer exists, it's all an illusion....well nightmare actually....see @Sucky for more details.
No, I’m just bright enough to understand that football is a sum of all its parts and not just cherry picking the bits that fit the narrative that you and Fosse are trying to push.
Premier football and being ****s to each other on the PL board. I'm pumped up and ready to go ladies and Gentlemen.
And without Royal Engineers and similar aged clubs you probably wouldn’t have any bragging rights as they are a part of the history of professional football and helped to move it forward. It’s like trying claim that the Ford Cortina, the most popular car of its generation, has no relevance to today’s vehicles.
So you believe that reading about something in a history book is the same as witnessing it live in person? Laughable.
It took me 3 minutes before I laughed at that...I'm not very quick when it comes to jokes. I'm like the crazy man in the corner who's laughing at something that happened a few hours earlier. But very good joke I hasten to add now that I get it.
Not sure what’s laughable about understanding and appreciating how something evolves. I can’t help if you’re small minded enough not to understand that.
Early potential on Sunday with Man Utd v Arsenal, quite a few Man Utd haters on here, so whatever happens will be funny.
