The two main problems appear to be the litter and a lack of toilet facilities, both easily fixed if the council and the race course put their minds to it.
Used to live in central Beverley, “ladies” day has always been carnage, especially if on a day with nice weather. Highlight one year was being woken up by a couple shagging (or attempting to) on the ground outside my house. Woman lying on the ground, legs in the air with her knickers around one ankle, shrieking with laughter. Man with trousers round his knees apparently suffering from brewers droop offering to go down instead. Classy stuff. Always hoped for crappy weather because more people went home early rather than into town.
They do put extra bins around, but tbf given the long walk people from the course to the town you’d need hundreds of loos on the route to stop people pissing where they want. (They put more out. I don’t know) And given the Kings Head has plenty of loos but people there still piss in their garden and even their restaurant then I’m not sure it’s that easily fixed?
Bunch of miserable bastards on here. Women are allowed to get dressed up and have some fun, you know. Even the older ones. Sure, some go a bit too far and get in a state, but that's not really any different from any given Saturday in any town. It's just busier than usual
