Huddersfield are a reasonably decent side for their league (L1) if you failed to beat them, I don't think it matters who you played, you lost mate, suck it up and move on. If you played a weakened side, then it demonstrates that you are a club above your station that's disrespecting the trophy. I do wonder if this trophy is still worth continuing at times, even my lot put out about 7 changes from Saturday, I get you want to give all your players a chance to get some time, but like my lot last night, you got done by a L1 team so it just means we are both ****....regardless of your past trophy haul.
Not bothered about losing at all mate ... and made up with Cifuentes giving all that playing time to the academy lads ... they need the experience and are the life blood / future of the club ... Huddersfield were really good for a League One team and if anyone is looking for a bet in terms of winning that league... just saying. What we need is the end of this transfer window, because there is so much uncertainty at the club at this moment ...
Trouble is League One has got like the Championship a divide of teams who are throwing money at it. There's a reason Birmingham and Wrexham went up last season and it was the vast sums of money they spent on their teams compared to the rest of the competition.
The players that started were 20, 21, 23, 24, 24, 27. Yeah Monga is 16, so he’ll need the experience. The rest, though Half of them should be coming into their prime not needing experience and I’m not sure what they’ll gain from playing a league one reserve team.
