Anyone who has not been watching the series.....it is a must see. The actor Warwick Davis is superb, but you must get to episode two to appreciate it.....then you`ll be hooked. Trust me I`m a docker! Mind you if you did not like The Office.....you possibly will not get it!
Should of course be Life`s Too Short......is there anyway that you can edit an article heading anyone please?
massive fan of the office and ricky gervais but this show is so bad!....its like a dwarf version of david brent...and the episode with johnny depp had me watching painfully through my fingers..he managed to make such a great actor act terrible..the jokes are bland and un-original as all have been done in the office and extras..don't ruin brent RICKY!!..and IMO ricky gervais might just be running out of ideas..i hope i'm wrong.
Kind of like "Life's Too Short" has me chuckling and cringing in equal measure. Not a huge fan of Gervais to be honest and I think you're right Londonblue Gervais may be running out of ideas.
Watched the interview with Ricky Gervais and Warwick Davis On Alan Carr Chatty Man was more interesting then the series . Davis was talking about having a builder round to do some work in his garden and how the poor guy kept stuttering and wouldn't call the mini wall he wanted built a dwarf wall .
the thing is tafffish i cringed all the way through the office and extras because it was so geniusly written and the characters were very believable but 'life's too short' is just becoming a little too long..excuse the pun ;D
Londonblue, haven't seen the office (missus hates Gervais) but thought Extras was funny (mate got me the dvd). I'll look it up on iplayer and have a watch.
taffthefish the office is brilliant its up there with best..trust me and you will know some people just like brent i'm sure or at least come across some like him
Watched the replay of last week's Life's too short last night. The bit where he is shopping, meets a young lady (not a "little person"), exchanges phone numbers in the hope of a date then purchases a pack of three in hope of something more, takes his basket to the checkout - shop girl on till to her mate, in hearing of the whole store, "Will these johnies fit a dwarf?" Absolutely brilliant. My wife hates the programme but she laughed at that. It is an acquired taste and a lot of his mannerisms are very Gervaisesque but still better than most of the crap on tv at present - The Rev excepted, that is so understated and total class.
