I am agreeing with rum and black here. He has massive potential and may turn into an elite player. But right now he’s just a good player. If he delivers stats like Isak over the next two seasons then he can be classed as an elite player.

We don't know what's gone on. It could be as simple as he told Howe he wants out, who begrudgingly accepts but says we need a replacement. We believe 100% we're getting Pedro, we don't, we then go for Sesko, it fails, so with our famously limited scouting there's nobody else we're looking at so Howe now needs to try and say to Isak "look, you're here, we can't replace so you need to stay". Isak, like it or not, feels let down and angry so reacts.
You could have saved yourself a lot of time by stopping after your first sentence.

The only way Isak can save some face here is if he peddles his agent and comes out with some sort of statement publically. If he sticks with him and they both stick to their guns in insisting on going to Liverpool then they are gonna be sadly disappointed. If we have told the dippers they can jog on unless they’re prepared to stump up £150m + then I’m not aware of any other “options” they are exploring so he’d better get used to playing with the reserves I guess.

I can’t remember anything like this happening ever, certainly not at our club but he seems like he’s pissed on his chips now like for me!

this

if he does want a move ?
I still haven't heard anything yet
it has to be any other team than a Premiership team

I would take £100m and ship him off to Forshaga IF in the Swedish 3rd division

now there's a team to support

come on you SHAGAS <laugh>

What the hell is a Shaga? lol. Love it.

But Isak clearly does want the move or we wouldn’t be where we are now?

Im still think the situation is gone. Isak is done for me. I think we just accept 140m for him off whoever and we reinvest. Ideally overseas.

We can do so much with the money from a FFP perspective. And we can sign 4-6 top not elite players which I would prefer anyways.

Stay away from them egos for now.

That's your opinion, but you also has the opinion Joelinton playing in midfield was a laughable idea..not being a dick just pointing it out.

Ekitike? I don't know what more people need to see.. He's absolutely brilliant.. Pure gifted.
Simple. He's a striker. Show me the figures.

I still don't think he's a bad replacement for Wilson.. If we kept Isak I think that's a decent situation.

There's definitely too much player snobbery around some fairly solid players... OK they might not be exciting, but they'd definitely do a job in certain games and situations.

It's unfortunate what's happening with Isak and very damaging potentially, so if a player wants to come I would prefer to appreciate them.

He's so good man

Think he got 15 and 7 last season not sure, but he's also very gifted technically much like isak.. Actually Isak wasnt prolific until he was what 25?

I'm not going to go around in circles though because I've made my thoughts and assessment clear and I've also said 3 or 4 times to various posters that you're fine to hold your own view...how more reasonable can I be?

Both are elite if that softens it a little.

The lumbering midfield ox that is Doucoure scored by league goals that DCL in the last 3 years combined. Would be like when we bought Sheffield Kuqi.

Gordon only got I think 1 in nearly 2 years at Everton. Regardless if football was as simple as looking at goal stats we wouldn't need tactics or styles of play.

I think we maybe lack someone who can hold it up a bit an get on the end of crosses. It doesn't have it be lewin I'd be nuts saying that, but I wouldn't complain.... Obviously if prefer a better player... Strand larson is interesting
