Beginning to look like Howe has a list which is poles apart... The high end is elite and when we fail it's down to the likes of Ramsdale...

So not abilities or assessment in any real detail then and you can create ranking systems that will give you different results Charles, so you're completely wrong actually.

We've reached an impasse a bit like the one when you argued until you took a bet.. A bet you didn't honour when you lost.

Isak is consistently ranked by everyone as a better striker than Ekitike right now, that's not up for debate by questioning the semantics of ranking systems.

I'm not basing anything on what everyone else is saying, that's how you go wrong. It's a similar situation to when I highlighted Joelintons abilities to play cm and was laughed at.

Ekitike is now already an elite player at a younger age than Isak and he's at Liverpool... Both will be soon.

I'm actually amazed that people can't see it yet.... I did 3 years ago... If you can't fine but your little ranking system will fail to change my mind.

He's not even in his house that's how much Isak wants to leave the club.... There's no getting away with this one.. We're going to be bantered to **** for a around a decade.

When Isak came to us he wasn’t classed anywhere near one of the best strikers in the world. But he’s now proven it.

Ekitike last season proved that he’s also a good striker. If I was to choose (current situation aside) I would still say Isak is better. But not by an awful lot.

Has the Isak stance this morning made it harder for Liverpool to sign him?

The club look like we are basically saying nope. Not to Liverpool. Not a chance.

Isaks agent has ****ed up I think and Isaks name is tarnished now beyond repair. This will your right be looked at in years to come. But in a negative manner.

Yep he's already demonstrated the elite ability he has and now people that didn't notice will begin to realise... That 1st goal yesterday yet another example.

Isak has caused the club a lot of damage. The problem isn't solved even if they sell him.

The dressing room is going to be destroyed and other players are going to start positioning themselves for moves.

In hindsight Newcastle should definitely have taken Ekitike and given pool Isak... We've been taken to the cleaners.

No way is Ekitike an elite player.

What has he actually done? He may be a promising player or a very promising player or even a highly promising player but has not actually done anything of special note to enable him to be classed as an elite player.

Give it another year or two and we will see. In comparison Shearer scored 22 goals in 26 appearances which agewise would equate to Ekitike last season and this year was to score 34 in 48 appearances. Shearer was an elite player.

That's your opinion, but you also has the opinion Joelinton playing in midfield was a laughable idea..not being a dick just pointing it out.

Ekitike? I don't know what more people need to see.. He's absolutely brilliant.. Pure gifted.

I’m of the opinion it might do the opposite. They might think he’s a Cnut like everyone seems to think he is be portrayed to be.

Joelinton and Bruno seem to love the club. Tonali seems to like it also. The rest if they want to go then I wouldn’t lose to much sleep over it.

If we sign Thiaw and Wissa and only lose Isak then the window isn’t terrible. I still think we will get Gallagher.

I am agreeing with rum and black here. He has massive potential and may turn into an elite player. But right now he’s just a good player. If he delivers stats like Isak over the next two seasons then he can be classed as an elite player.

That's fine and I'm saying he's already an elite player and people haven't noticed yet.

    Well some people
