I think my only doubt of it being true is whether we’d pay the outlay people think it would take to get him at 28.
We have flexed the model with the likes of xhaka and alderete but this would be a huge investment on someone that has a lower chance of substantial resell value than the likes of diarra.
Obviously I know we can’t just target every signing based on what we can resell for but it would be a bit of a surprise for me if we did this for the fee it would reportedly take.
Exciting nonetheless and his goal record speaks for itself.
