Motivated Gilesy got my blood flowing everytime he got the ball in a crossing position, gonna be good with McBurnie on the end of it.
Hughes: was fantastic Giles: Imagine mcburnie getting on those crosses Ajayi: towering performance. Good day out. Wouldn't mind if I didn't see another train for a long while. 8 trains and train stations is enough for anyone
Did you wait for the train from the ground back to Cov? If so how long did you wait? I got fed up waiting and walked it!
We managed to get on the platform before they shut the gate. Was about half an hour i think. We went to Nuneaton, then changed at Tamworth then sheffield. Had a couple of pints at Doncaster tap and off home for about 7:30
Hughes Giles Ajayi It was a close call for third. As GLP mentioned Ajayi was immense defensively but was a bit hit and miss with his distribution, while Drameh had a decent game despite clearly being targeted by Cov as a potential weak link.
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Hughes 215 Ajayi 183 Giles 99 Drameh 41 Lundstram 10 Pandur 7 Crooks 3 A strong defensive performance; illustrated by the fact that 98% of the votes cast were for the back five. Nice to see Giles getting on the podium. Long may it continue. As much as it seems like a good result (and it is) the overall dynamic was very similar to last season. Strong at the back, lacking creativity in the middle and not a lot going on upfront. The few chances we did create were fluffed. Still stuff to fix; hopefully the new signings can address that.
