Stop blubbing, Alice ... I'm sure you support the most famous and popular club in Sofaland ...<laugh>
Facts are facts.

Most successful club in the land.

Stick that in your championship pipe and smoke it<laugh>

"Most famous and popular"<laugh> .... I'm sure the Utd fans would much rather be winning that race than actual fuking trophies<doh>

... he was excellent in our Championship winning campaign, and in terms of personal performance, excellent last season despite a woeful defence in front of him - he will be Denmark's number one keeper for a long time to come ... he's way better than Onana at United and look what he was signed for ...

... but you know way more about my club and it's players than me, of course ... sure you've watched every game that Hermansen has played ...hardly surprising given your fascination for all things Leicester City! <laugh>

They're opinions not assumptions... opinions based on experience... forums are just that when you boil it down.

In terms of goalkeepers, Leicester City fans have been a bit spoilt ...

In my lifetime selected number 1s:

Gordon Banks
Peter Shilton
Mark Wallington
Tim Flowers
Ian Walker
Kasey Keller
Kaspar Scmeichel

All internationals bar Wallington who succeeded Shilton and was vastly underrated...

Now based on watching them (Banks is by reputation - Shilton was between the sticks when I got my first season ticket) ... I'd put Hermandsen above Walker and Kelleher and on a par with Flowers and Schmeichel... but with loads of potential... Kaspar was a bit of a flapper on crosses and was always susceptible to shots from outside the box to the top corners ... but an amazing reflex shot stopper...

Hermandsen is much better with the first two but perhaps not as phenomenal on the third ...

Hence my relatively high regard... and 'opinion' of his worth in today's market.

Shilton was the best keeper I've ever seen btw.

This Shilton…..

I like this signing. Premier league experience and decent cover for LB.
I'm gonna guess you've never watched him play outside of a few clips. He can do some wonderful tricks, but he just loses his head far too often and does ridiculous things like catch the ball in the penalty area for no reason. He can run to the bye-line and then pass it low across the front of the goal, in fact that's pretty much all he can do, and if there's a wall of defenders between him and the goal, he'll still try to do it.
If you play in a 5 with him as LWB he's not so bad, but at LB in a 4 he's a disaster. Once in a green moon he'll look like Messi (blue moons aren't rare enough).

We'll tbf Utd are **** and have been **** for years now, it doesn't look like a quick fix either, sesko has gone for the 300k a week nothing more.

If he had any ambition he'd have chose the toon imho but I'm biased like you on this just on opposite ends <laugh>
No way are Man Utd paying him anything like 300k week <laugh>

Like I said he’s there for cover and has experience. I’m happy with that. He’s just come off his best season when he was playing for Besiktas, just because he didn’t play well for you doesn’t mean he’ll be a bad player for us. I’ll give him a chance first.

Probably not but the point was it's more then the toon could offer and that's why they got him instead of Newcastle.

Therefore = mercenary

And we all know Utd have made a habit of signing these types In the last decade
