Normally I'd agree however, Ballard has only played over half of our league games in 1 of his 3 seasons. Cirkin has missed game time, Reinaldo had a bad injury a couple of years ago and we don't know how bad O9s injury is (@Prehab26 said he'd heard it was really bad) so I dont mind 9 for now

I really rate him, i know I'm in the minority but he has to go and play week in week out if he's to ever reach his potential

 

Still really keen on seeing quite a few outgoings soon. Squad does feel bloated at the moment in some areas but a lot of the ones making it bloated aren't going to feature so need to be moved on.

 

He's always looked fairly solid to me at CB, not great at crossing or overlapping which is why some fans don't like him as a LB.

All fair points. Just a personal preference that I don’t like it when squads are built on a contingency basis for more than normal levels of injuries. If you get to those points of desperation then you use your academy regardless of the drop off in quality.

Equally, I guess it’s the hand we’ve been dealt with Ballard, Cirkin and Alese already here and under contract and with O’Nien’s injury as you say.

Makes a whole load of sense. You don’t hang your hat on Cirkin being a reliable backup to Reinildo for me. Also if we didn’t sign a left back we would have Jones or Huggins playing at LB

Cirkin has struggled every single season with injuries and had a really shoddy spell last season.
