In my opinion it's because he's clearly a quality player ... ... once a player is fit I take them off the 'injured list' and give them a clear slate.
He said there's 'clear evidence of corruption' This is despite the Saudis actually chopping up a journalist, killing gays and stoning rape victims to death.
We absolutely do need a centre back in for West Ham mind. I won't hear for one second that saying so is bed wetting. Every game is vital this year. And the winnable ones are few and far between. Going into this "easier" (statistically) run of games up against international forwards with a worse back 4 than the side who finished 4th in the championship last season is shooting ourselves in the foot big time.
He hasn’t played enough football to deem him a quality player. He has played 24 games for us. Had some good and bad ones. Some people think he’s better than Hume which is just absolutely mental.
He was our best player before his injury in the championship. If he can get back to that level and of course stay fit I think he can play the premier league. No guarantee he gets back there though is the risk.
I deem him a quality player and that's my honest opinion ... ... I deemed Rigg a quality player the first time I ever saw him.
I agree with what your saying and it was the first area I thought we needed to overhaul this summer. But I also trust that the club will have been working tirelessly through out this break to do that. We've seen in past windows they won't just bring in any player. I'd imagine if we are struggling to sign players permanently in these positions we'll see a loan deal at centre back. Just hope they can pull something off or we may really struggle.
Not for me. I just don’t see it with him. I thought he looked good when we initially signed him in league one.
Huggins looks like he could be a quality full back option for us this year but I worry about him defensively. He always looks great to me on the ball. But is he up to stopping the likes of Jarrod Bowen?
Not saying the club aren't trying. They clearly are. Doesn't change my opinion that us not having a quality centre back in for West Ham is shooting ourselves in the foot though. In a season where we might stay up by 1 or 2 points we need to be treating the first game as an unofficial transfer window.
Saying we need 2 centre backs and 1 urgently to maximise our chances of points is absolutely fine. Saying the club have failed, they're not doing enough etc. is ridiculous. I think most of us are saying the first sentence and some people are inferring the second.
Yeh the club haven't "failed". And they'll be as critical on themselves as anyone as to whether they're executing the plans effectively. They won't need fans to tell them we need this centre back in, like, yesterday
This may take some explaining without sounding rude, which isn't my intention. Your opinion is fine but it's basically meaningless and changes nothing. The club will do whatever the club wants to do or is possible. If they can't sign another player, in this window, your opinion may stay the same but it doesn't actually matter ... ... it's just your opinion and will remain that. Hope that doesn't come our wrong.
