Daughter lived in Crete for 12 years and told us it's Gyros but you don't pronounce the S.
To say it it's gee ro. Is that any help.

 

What if the Waiter is called Ross though? He might think im being insulting

There great you will enjoy great food and drink entertainment is also good
However the best of the lot is the service top class

You know mate we must of been on 20 plus cruises and we have 4 more booked
I’ve asked and we have never had any special treatment and that’s 60,65.70x2 birthdays 50th wedding anniversary and other special occasions we’ve had nowt
We’ve upgraded at a great cost to a junior suite because we get nowt
Again however the service from the working staff is fabulous
