I reckon his political slogan of ‘for the many but not the Jew’ could be a winning formula for him right now. It feels like the stars are aligning for Jezza at just the right time.
When I was a teenager (18 or 19) I think it was one of the rolling stones was with a girl who was about my age...it then came out that he met her as a thirteen year old and was "dating" her while she was still at school ..we all thought he was a perv but the media treated it like it weren't a problem.
I think the majority of the UK right now is in a position where they're not going to put their trust in a left wing party. Especially a soft spoken old man like Jeremy. Clearly the appetite is for a bombastic fella who tells you ****s ****ed and he wants it changed
I’m 14 years older than my other half, but she was 41 and I was 55 when we met so I would hope it’s no big deal tbh. Plus women are generally at least 14 years more grown up than men in general, so really we’re the same age.
Anthony Kiedis RHCP lead singer did the exact same thing. Kiedis has a record for going for the youngest girls available.
Yeah unfortunately this is the case. A guy who would actually put working people first just isn't flavour of the month anymore. Farage will get votes because he whips up fear and mistrust and then claims he's the only one who can fix it.
I think if it was a bombastic trade union type who had a few years of real politics under his belt, it would be a different story. Someone who can point at the establishment and shout. All Reform have to say is "Jeremy Corbyn supports terrorists" and that's his campaign done.
Mick Lynch or Eddie Dempsey would be a good shout Corbyn is a busted flush now, the smear campaign did a job on him and he's not coming back from that.
I don't mind Corbyn, but then any contentious side of him don't really affect me as I see it. I think he means well, when it comes to tackling poverty and speaking out against the anormous sums of money spent on weapons - I agree with him. I still remember the time he promised everyone free internet, again as crazy and ill thought out the idea maybe, again he's right, in a free world, no one should be left out and it's one of my beefs with the internet, whether it be the cost of device, connection or even subscriptions, cashless, parking apps... in my mind there shouldn't be barriers in life based on whether you can afford a critical component of it, and if people can't afford food they certainly can't afford the internet or the devices that enable them. So if I was asked would I vote for him, the answer would be yes...BUT I think this Palestinian stuff would probably stop me putting that x in the box for him. However, you never know in 3 or 4 years time all this Gaza **** might have calmed down, so I might reconsider based on how the land lies. Tell you what would be a vote winner, Corbyn organising free trips to this new North Korean holiday resort, I'm up for that, get it done Jeremy.
Didn't know that about Kiedis. Literally admitted it in his autobiography FFS. Which says to me he's actually done far worse. Grim as ****.
Yup ... 12 years older than mine ... both married to others when we met ... but now been together for over 30 years ...
Just a reminder of the lies that Starmer was willing to tell so he would be elected. Even the ‘black hole’ would have been part of the plan.
Cops will do what they did to Extinction Rebellion, start tearing down doors in the early hours and class it as people preparing for terrorist activities. Once a few doors get kicked in Mavis will worry more about her little chihuahua's heart rate, than any Palestinians thousands of miles away.
Exactly. I’ve got no sympathy for them, not agreeing with the law is no excuse. Most people believe Cannabis should be legal but ultimately folk can have no complaints if they’re locked up for cultivating it or possession, if they’re caught.
