It's unlikely that we could force a win from here, but we definitely shouldn't be losing.

Assuming that Durham lose, and Yorks beat Sussex, a draw enables us to move above Sussex, remain above Yorks, and pull further clear of Durham.

A good day for Hampshire, need to pick up the rate tomorrow and try our best to leave enough time to take 10 wickets. Worcs will have to go for it, a draw's no good for them really. Fuller to come in next, Prest can hit out a bit as well.

So that's India all out, five for Gus Atkinson. Didn't have time to watch yesterday, I wonder how the England openers will cope on what looks like a pitch what has something in it for the bowlers.

“Nice” morning session for England. Not sure I’d been so accommodating as Duckett to Deep.

It very much depends on what Deep was saying to Duckett. If it was a wind up, someone needs to have a word with him. Even if it was friendly, it was still a bit odd.

Yes of course but as you say, very odd. And since, now Krishna / Root. Seems to me India are a bit rattled & are deliberately using a bit of wumming.

What happened? I was out for a while, didn't even know we'd lost another wicket.
