No disrespect but you're defending the indefensible.

Fan criticism is a weird thing, the lads who came up with us have always got a daft amount for the simple reason that they were signed in L1 or for peanuts. I'd happily take another £50k Slater right now or another £100k Alfie.

But then on the flip side, I thought Pedro deserved escaped criticism despite his impact on games being really poor. You could see he was a top player but he couldn't physically do it any more and his impact on games was minimal. Considering he was meant to be on a chunk, he was a really poor signing.

This is from Fotmob and it's based on the past year but look at how bad that is.

I've had a brief look at his stats and compared it with Magennis in the Championship and well... it's not great.

Selles had the defence hoofballing it for Pedro to run himself into the ground trying to chase lost causes and battle for headers with centre halves. He had absolutely no chance, not his game at all is it. Might as well have played McLoughlin or Jones up front they probably would have been more effective.

More its the confidence of the defence in front of him the gave them the confidence of what was behind them.

Sheffield United's two point deduction, last season, was for overdue payments of transfer fees to several clubs. Odds on there was no salary cap for them. :emoticon-0138-think

Never heard of him but superficial digging shows that both Forest and PSV had the chance to buy him relatively cheaply but didn't.

Hopefully comes with a point to prove and a v. cheap outlay

forest signed him on loan in january with option to buy for 4m
they put him into their academy till the loan ended and didnt buy

he scored 1 goal in 12 games in the dutch 2nd tier in the first half of last season

socks glued on with superglue
