Funny this. To be honest, i'd be in the exact same boat as this poster if KLD owned other clubs and was buying players from rivals to help them fund transfers for our targets. PIF have done a poor job of organising a proper footballing structure at the club (Howes nephew is a big part of their transfer team), constantly have them close to the PSR line as they are poor sellers and are pretty prolific at lying to their fans.

As I said, funny.

As Ellis Short ably demonstrated throwing lots of money at something doesn't mean it doesn't end up as a mess ...

.... I'd guess the figures would match up' pro-rata' and they could easily end up making a dogs breakfast of it.

At least we had our own stadium and good facilities to call our own, SJP is a shambles backstage.

What's the difference between talks and advanced talks? Between a gap and a big gap? How big?

I really don't think they know. They have some sort of idea, but it looks more like guesswork than anything else. Nowt wrong with that either, that's their job; fill in the columns. But often that is all they are doing. They are waiting too.

The only real fact that is not in dispute is that we and the player have agreed all personal terms. Presumably this was done with the player's current club's permission. Which would of course imply that they are open to the idea of letting him leave.

If we can reach a fee we can afford he'll be here . If not he won't.

I do suspect though, on the basis of no knowledge whatsoever, that one way or another, the matter will be resolved in the next week or so. Both clubs, and the player, need to know.

That's my point in a nutshell.

The media, or journalists at a stretch, have all these handy clickbaity catchphrases to get people talking and they work.

They rely on what they're being told to say providing it suits the agents/clubs/etc and feeds their particular audience.
