Let's see if he can do it in a real game when it matters - and don't get me wrong, I really, really hope he does.

That was a cracking goal, played all the way from the goalkeeper at the back, and not one QPR player got a touch. I know it’s a pre season warm up but it’s got me exited for the new season. Mind you I say that every year!

Have we ever had such a boring transfer window?
    Not even far fetched rumours.
To be fair, it will be good to see a few youngsters given a chance, but one or two rumours would be nice.

Very attacking line up. My only question is whether Turnbull should be in for Robinson?

However I can see positives either way.

Looks like either Wintle or Chambers for captain.

It would be interesting to see that team line up. My main question would be does Robinson start wide right? I assume it's a 4231 or a 433. Not the players for a 442. Salech has to play through the middle.
It might be Glen's view on the best 11 players, but is it the best team?

Two teenagers in the back 4 shows the experience we've lost, but exciting to see what they can do. Concerning the both seem to be on the same side of the defence.

Who will be leaving next Salech, Robinson,Robertson ,Tanner,Davies, and our manager has obiously got his hands tied on transfers by Tan,and we will end up with 2 or 3 loanees before next sat if were lucky and these will not have been intergrated into the side pre season so i can see them for a month sitting on their hands. What is Tan doing he says he wants to go straight up then acts like a man who hasent got a pot to pizz in.The only side in div 1 with no signings absolutly criminal.Look i live in France but have supported city for over 70 years i pay to watch on the city site which sometiimes works but not this year ,i dont believe in throwing good money away on rubbish.

Need to get Alnwick and Horvarth off our books then. Turner will do as the No 2 keeper.

Robertson just hobbled off after a bad tackle. The stud marks are evident on his shin - he’s wearing tiny shin pads<doh>

ps Forgot Chambers is suspended for opening game after his red card at Norwich

Some positivity in what looks a depressing season ahead.

Trott has very limited experience. Certainly won't be no. 1, no.2 also unlikely.

We shouldn't be signing anyone who isn't going to be first choice. We don't have the luxury to 'pad out a squad'. That's what the youngsters are for.
