Much like last year, the results don't matter and it's about the fitness and cohesion, but winning can become a habit and we've managed 4 on the bounce. Sergej seems to have a formula that works everywhere he goes, so here's hoping
Good to see everyone get a run out, early days yet but Ajayi looks handy, Crooks looks fitter than last season, Hughes for captain and Palmer is a bit of a dud, imo.
Results don’t matter but how do you think WBA fans think about losing 4-2 at home to Lincoln. An injury time goal also made the score line respectable.
I listened to the Not the Top 20 podcast with their 1-24 predictions of League One. Those guys have tipped Stockport to finish second.
Last season Stockport had quite a few 12.03 KO's so I saw them play a few times before I watched City matches - they have a very good coach in Dave Challinor who has taken them from the national League to where they are now; they were well organised and hard to beat.
Yep,100% agree. They're very well organised and looked extremely fit.I'm sure the commentator said it was their last friendly. Talking of friendlies,Boro were up at Ibrox today, drew 2-2 and brought a big following(rough estimate,I'd say 6,000-7000).It's a pity we seldom venture up here nowadays.
we play it from player to player at the back until one gets put under pressure then in a panic we kick it upfield
didn't watch it but apart from fitness, winning games can't be bad and interestingly, all 3 of our strikers have scored in pre season now, which can't be bad either
