Freakishly unlucky but also irrelevant to our current situation. Millar and Belloumi won’t be playing until after the September international break and Matazo won’t be back until after Christmas. Puerta can’t be registered.

Our squad is currently piss-poor for the money we’ve laid out in the last three years. Even if Famewo, Lundstram and a striker come in before Coventry, our squad depth is still piss-poor and our midfield will be like training cones for Coventry’s.

You know what first day can throw up a lot of surprises. I wouldn't be banking on anyone on opening day. Unless we sign a striker we appear to be in a heap of trouble but I wouldn't be backing a heavy Coventry win either.

Never a truer word spoken.

Gut feeling is Coventry will hit the ground running and beat us fairly comfortably but I wouldn't be in any hurry to stick the deeds to my house on it.
