why don't we drop Bassong and just go for Cahill instead?! Fascinating reading. Sort of exciting but would be like starting a new team and I think we would run the risk of destabilising to the point of risk. Do others agree?
It's a fair point although I'm sure that even the Warnock haters would agree that the bloke does knit teams quickly (last year and this). Oh, and the Ipswich fan in my house says that Murphy's ****e so why not lose him as a fringe goalie?

I have to agree with this one, I think that everyone gets carried away with the Mackie Europhia. Effort is 10/10 , ability actually isnt that great. How many games has he now played without a goal ?
I'm a bit sceptical about Mackie's ability as well 9, but he tries like hell. Also a bit sceptical about Anton - Gabbidon has looked the better of or two 1st choice CB's to me.
This is how rumours get about and people start believing them. All a load of Chinese whispers that change from hand to hand over time. Utter utter rubbish! Even Fantasy Island are laughing! Bassong done deal? Who says? I guess the reason he played yesterday was to get him fit for when he joins in January? Or was it to get him injured? Utter rubbish as well
Let's just not forget that Mackie had serious injury in Jan, and has spent he best part of a year out. I wouldn't give up on him at the moment, and would give him till a least the end of next season to prove he can cut the mustard. However when he joined he did stat on fire with a incredible amount of goals scored.....and usually players that score don't forget how to do it...even if they have dry spells. If you want t get rid of players that can, and have scored in the past, I would start with Dave and Vine
VINE and Dave are dead and buried, not part of our squad and worthless, would not get a penny for them in the transfer window.. Just saying 4mill for a winger/striker that has not scored in his last 27 apps is great business in my book. I love the lads effort and commitment , its 10/10, but technique and skill is lacking for me.
for 4 million for mackie??? i would take it as he is not a premier league player and never will be!!! i know rangers fans love him but if he wasnt our player how many of you would rate him??? smith, buz, rowlands, cook, ****tu, murphy, borrowdale, thats my 7to get rid of!! if any 4 of the rumoured players sign for us then we would be at least 15 points better off by the end of the season, thats a fact.
how many goals did mackie score in the first 2 months of last season and how many did he score in the next 2 months??? he had his peak for us and 4million is treble what hes worth!!!
Seems Anelka is heading out of Chelsea. I thought i read a 'Rumour' that he was going to come to QPR? Must be coming via China. Maybe he could pick up the Russian Billionaire, Defoe and Bassong on the way.
