Arteta was playing him. The guy was on bail for a few years and then just four days after he left Arsenal, the police then decided to charge him. That seems too much of a coincidence, for me. It stinks, tbh. Arsenal knew the seriousness of the multiple charges and it was also three different women. That should have been enough to suspend him on full pay. They consciously chose not to do that.
Nah but it's definitely one of the downsides along with smaller allocations. Never understood why allocation rules are different in EFL.
