Would imagine it’s one we had lined up to completion and would be an “optional” to pull the trigger depending on other business later on

I liked both the Charlie Gray and Ishe Samuels-Smith links from earlier this summer but they seem to have gone nowhere. Wonder if they were on our Championship list and we can no longer guarantee them minutes

I want Oscar Bobb on a permanent. Might be wishful thinking.

I also think our player in the “Rigg position” this year might be one of the players we think of as wide forwards, like Adringa, Lauriente, or Talbi. Let them drift around the pitch and pick up pockets, and look to hurt teams in transition. That might be a way of getting four quick players in to the team for counter attacks. Hopefully Mundle sticks around and can play alongside Adringa/Lauriente sometimes.

Looks like he could be on his way, its been noticed that he has removed any mention of Sunderland from his Insta Bio and removed his profile pic.

Possibly with the arrival of the new lad, Lauriente, who can play anywhere across the front 3, with Adingra, Roberts etc, bit too much competition.

Would like him to stay personally, so much potential, but think we will get a decent fee for him if he goes

If it's been fully rehabilitated and stressed tested, then no. It will have been obviously.

That said, it's went twice now, and the type of player he is, very dynamic and explosive, it will always be a risk factor.

I have dropped my mate a message to see if the rumours are true.

As if it is the same one again, third time, it's not just a risk it's a liability and serious doubts moving forward.
