They need to get a life for God's sake.

Now, now, we don't know their backgrounds, for all we know they could have been dropped on their head as a child. If not, they deserve to be dropped on their head now. Repeatedly. While someone shouts "IT'S THE SAME F@CKING INGREDIENTS, IT TASTES THE F@CKING SAME" each time until they learn.

He's likely taking the piss out of the staff, or maybe he just doesn't like the juicy tomato on the outside touching the bread and is funny about that, OCD has been mentioned.

For a work lunch it is different, but I never got why people go out specifically for a sandwich and/or coffee then take them back home to consume.

I'd have turned the sandwich upside down and handed it back to the customer.

But then the ham an lettuce would be bottom and 2nd bottom, so could create another problem for this awkward customer.

Then i would have bounced the said sandwich off their head.

Could be worse, when our lass has been at the Prosecco on a Sunday I swear she used a catapult to make my bait for Mondays
Many a time I’ve sat at my desk thinking what on earth has she done here

And the sandwich conundrum?

If I wanted a ham, lettuce, cucumber and tomato sandwich, I couldn't give a shiney ****e what order they went in, as long as they were in.

I'd be more concerned that I actually went to Subway, to get said sandwich.

When my mate used to come in on Sunday morning after being on the piss on Saturday night, he would have 2 slices of white bread with no butter on filled with raw cauliflower florets. <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh> He would have killed for a Subway <laugh>

A couple of colleagues and I went to get a subway for lunch at one on site at the hospital I work out

one asked the to remake their sandwich as they put the cucumber on before the tomoto, they are refusing to see it as the same sandwich with the tomato on before the cucumber,

said its not the same, they are totally different

( they where having a cold ham, lettuce, tomato and Cucumber sub)

So is the same sub by having it as cold ham, lettuce, tomato and Cucumber sub or is cold ham, lettuce, cucumber and tomato sub 2 different subs

I do believe I have met people who would, at that point, have walked round to the front of the counter and knocked that character out.

So they are in essence the same but I think order is important. Lettuce must be bottom, ham must be top. Tomato and cucumber in the middle thus preventing bread mush disaster.
That said it’s spicy Italian or nowt in Subway.

When I lived in Cornwall nd worked in both Devon and Cornwall wound them all up by saying they were both wrong. It was butter first then jam then cream, and yes Snaggey always Roddas clotted cream.
A true connoisseur.
I get these in at work, come in a box of 48....they dont last long, bloody lovely.

Spread the clotted cream and then dollop a spoonful of jam in the middle

Exactly this. The cream forms a cradle for the jam to sit in so you don't lose any.

Jam first would be way messier as it's not as dense.
