Thats a disgrace tbh

Probably better to put up the whole stats, so people who can be bothered can research it better, rather than a clickbait headline...

https://www.gov.uk/government/stati...edit-statistics-29-april-2013-to-12-june-2025

Probably worth noting Sucky, Ukrainian refugees could come under that, also those claiming UC could also be doing so to top up their wages. I personally don't know, but will let others decide, those that understand the detail better in the link I've now posted up.

If you're not born here or a UK citizen then you shouldn't have access to any benefits imo.

Not sure what I think of that idea tbph. If people come here for refuge, then they need something to survive, and even if you handed the benefits out in way of food vouchers, it's still a benefit being claimed, so to go your route would just hide the true cost. I'd rather have something that is accountable than unaccountable to the public knowledge.

I would need to know what those alternatives are, but Universal Credit is not as much money as you might think it to be. Vouchers use to be issued in the 70's, for example milk vouchers, they were abused left right and centre by local corner shops to harvest trade. Whatever you do will always come under scrutiny and deemed not ideal.

You would need to give me examples of what countries like Poland do...I say Poland because they took in millions of Ukranians.

Well they won't wanna claim asylum here if they dont and won't get a penny.

No more refuge for anyone.

No more foreign aid

Problem solved

No more aid, so what about you then Sucky, what happens when you want to use the NHS, now or in later life, should you be refused?

What if you need a GP, should you also be refused access to that?

You will not have enough contributions for a pension, so should you be refused benefits in later life?

or is it ok for a UK citizen to buck the system?

I'm a citizen mate. A UK national.

So i would be entitled to all those things.

I'm saying Muhammed from France coming on a boat gets absolutely **** all and is entitled to nothing.

And I meant scrap foreign aid btw

Stop asylum claims

No more refugees from anywhere.

Yeh mate, I've lived here most of my life, paid taxes (not anymore)

I wouldnt go Pakistan and expect free heathcare, schooling and money if I can't be arsed to work.

Why should anyone coming here get what they've paid nothing into.
