Yeah, that's two of us mate. Don't rate him at all and hoped that the rumoured interest from West Ham would have led to him moving there. Will obviously back the lad if he signs but think he's a poor keeper and that we could do a lot better than him for that money.
Well watching them play football, but probably not match ratings as a go to metric - sometimes useful in conjunction with other things or when someone is miles clear it's interesting to see what they do that makes them hit the fotmob/sofa score algorithm
Goals prevented data across his years of being a starter. He either hovers around 0 or is in the minus. I really don't like the signing at any fee above £10m, which won't be happening. If you are signing a GK for the reported £20m+ they really need to be a point winner and he just flat out isn't.
I haven’t seen any real credible links to Ramsdale mind, but I’ll be happy with bringing him in as a goalkeeper. Previous England international, plenty of premier league experience, mid 20s, and was touted as future Arsenal number one before Raya came in. He’s a big step up on Patterson imo, he’d at least give him some genuine competition.
Sure, it wasn't a for or against with ramsdale but more that's more what we should be using to judge them. I'm sure those fans don't rate him because of fotmob.
We not taking into account the clubs he's played for either and how awful their defences have been too? I don't know just feels like people are quick to judge with him, I was doing it myself. I don't think he is worth 20m+ like but there's nothing to say that's gonna be the case, i'm sure his release clause is only 20m
Whoever plays up front, with his back to goal or coming off the halfway line from out wide will be blessed imo. With players like Diarra, Enzo, etc, and their range of passing, there'll be all kinds of service to them. Providing we can keep things tight at the back we'll have enough breaks when Isidor, Mayenda, Talbi, Mundle, Asingra, etc, will benefit. I think Isidor will be better suited to the PL and the opposition will know it's a big risk leaving him 'one on one' if they're attacking. For me it's a case of Diarra winning the ball, off to Enzo and fired up the line or through the channels. I'm not expecting too much intricate passing and triangles at first ... ... and PLEASE no risky passing around the back from the keeper. We need to get the crowd buzzing, not chewing their fingernails.
