Ya managed that once with one of our lesser lights ... we've taken steps with new academy contracts for a number of our most promising that will effectively prevent that (which they've just signe) .. I'll put up details for you later...

... but you'd have no chance with Monga - proper big clubs like PSG and Real Madrid are monitoring... why eat scouse when he can eat fillet? <laugh>

Certainly seems keen, started the movement towards your first goal. Got a few more pounds on him than I imagined, thought he was skinnier....probably too many maccy d's....only kidding, but he is bigger than I thought for a little lad.

Don't think there's anything you can do to prevent it at that age with the current academy rules.

No idea and I can't remember how it worked with elliot but what's important is that lestah lose another player to a prem club

That's what I thought - but the new contract is called an 'academy scholarship' and commits him to signing his first professional contract with us on his 17th birthday in 2026 - we've done it with a few - look at who he turned down to sign it ... PSG and Barcelona ... Citeh and Chelsea .... plus a few lesser lights <whistle>

I’ve watched the second half and expected Liverpool fans to have been chanting Jota’s name all game. About half of them went through a 5 minute spell after the Nunez goal but that was about it.
