It’s only Ballard I’m confident against prem opposition, and I love Luke. Ballard has his own fitness concerns too. I’d say Alese would hold his own against prem opposition but his injuries are a massive concern.
Im the same mate. And ballard is injury prone. Alese is class but total crock ive gave up on him keeping fit personally
It might impact him getting a loan move tho Hjelde needs to play regularly at senior level and I'm hoping this injury isn't going to put a team off taking him on loan
I reckon he could surprise us, Regis seems to like him. Nonetheless I would loan him to Jan if possible, same with Seelt and Huggins.
Alese man. Thought he was close to being available for the playoffs? Cirkin as well just so frustrating. Defo need 2 cbs and another option at full back. Those two are out long term so often. Mandava going to be kind of thrown in at the start with him joining up late.
He’d have to wait till January. A long lay off like this means he’ll have to be in the under 23s for a few weeks. Won’t expect him to be available for senior football until late Sept at earliest - provided no setbacks.
Don't you think that with Reinaldo here. It's a case of letting the others gradually get fitter? They've had so many injuries between them, I'm certain they have been rushed back too quickly at times. Aji is a better CB imo and with less games in the PL it could be an unexpected advantage?
Must be misremembering mate. Thought he had a couple of months out at one point. Ah didn’t realise that. That’s not bad then
I think reinildo will be a class above personally Cirkin and alese still need to prove their fitness longterm especially alese. Maybe he has been rushed back but hes never fit for long then injured again
Another thing we’ll have to be careful about is Ballard isn’t exactly the most reliable for fitness so going to have to play some odd pairings at centre half over the preseason until reinforcements come in.
We needed 2 CBs anyway imo but really need at least 1 in soon to help them settle in before the season starts
