Sounds like Altidore. TBF if they were to swap this lad in a years time for an equivalent of the Defoe/Altidore greatest Safc swap deal in history I'd be all for it.
26 years old and has 18 in 22 this season, ahead of Messi and everyone else in the scoring charts. Out of contract in the winter, not even worth a look?
I was all for getting him a few years ago - think we were in League One then or maybe newly promoted. Not a PL player though. Didn't even know he was still about - just found he's in the MLS.
Arokodare has shades of Onuachu about him both in the positives and the negatives It would be good to have that type of profile striker so we can play direct if needs be, the big weakness for our current forwards is aerially Still crossing everything for Guessand but it seems like it wont happen
Think there's been a few different rumours, I heard from someone who said its because he wanted a new challenge. I don't think any of us or the ITKs will know the exact reason Contract negotiations can be really difficult, especially ones that will likely have a big wage increase involved I really hope he stays though, as a Sunderland fan I'm always so proud seeing academy boys develop into 1st team regulars and he has the added of developing in to our captain
Huge risk like, but I just think he's got something special. Time will tell though, can fully understand why fans would rather have someone with a relative proven record. Isidor has to show a bit more this season. Thought his all round play was frustrating last year but got the goals to make amends, he wont get that many chances in front of goal this season. Other worry for me is, I dont think he looked that comfortable on the left (even though that was meant to be his position), hoping he can do a job if needed there especially during AFCON.
I'm more than confident that Isidor and Mayenda, feeding off a central ELF and Diarra, are going to both surprise a lot of people this season.
