To be fair to Foy, I think both of those decisions are the linesman's to give as the referee probably had half a dozen bodies to see through.
Should've been a penalty (probably a red card) and a goal for Adebayor no question, but I'd blame the linesman for them not being given.

sorry dont agree, IMO he didnt touch him, Whelan pulled out of the challenge before contact was made.
