What on earth has that got to do with how Acun operates? On the whole though, Adam Pearson. Maybe could have done better with the academy but judging everything on its merits completely transformed the club.
There's positives and negatives in all ownerships a greater or lesser degree. And it's also true that when most ownerships come to an end the relationship between owners and supporters tend to deteriorate. What most supporters really object to is being taken for fools by owners insisting one thing whilst the reality being demonstrably something else.
Quite possibly, but the team we have currently is weak compared to other teams, doesn’t look like it’s going to get better, but we’ll see.
You can explain away a single instance as a misunderstanding. Gets much more difficult with multiples of the same offence.
The Allams, on one point only. Their financial status/wealth was very transparent. The annual accounts for Allamhouse. Acun? I am yet to be convinced is anything other than rob Peter to pay Paul, all smoke and mirrors.
Again conjecture on your part. I’m working on the assumption that the three window restriction will be reduced to one rather than removed completely and if it is reduced it means the EFL has at least part accepted some of the exceptional circumstances presented.
Which again is conjecture on your part. Best case scenario it's going to be more of a ****show of a preseason than last, which is pretty disappointing, alongside blatantly being lied to.
There was a softening of the view of Ehabs ownership when we got promoted from league 1 but many will give him the blame for getting us relegated in the first place due to his unwillingness to reinvest the funds from two key players.
Ah, silly me. The money Ehab used to pay all the bills during the Covid lockdown. The very transparent bank I mentioned in the post you replied to, had been declared shut. Ehab managed the cash flow. How is Acun doing?
It wasn't just paying the bills, they also paid down their investment in the club so they could accept an asking price the club was worth without losing money. Basically pulled their funding and pocketed as much as possible prior to selling.
Correct. And all this was transparent. Papa shut off the money supply, while at the same time a note appeared in City's accounts to the effect "dependent on the parent company". All very open. We were 100 million in debt, with Steve Bruce about to go on a buying spree. This is a bloody unbelievable thing to say, but I believe it is true, saying no to Steve Bruce saved the club. Yes, yes, it saved the Allam money as well. Transparency, that is all I ask from Acun. What, where, how, is his money coming from?
I disagree that Bruce left us in a mess and if you looked at what was recoupled from signings made under him it outweighs the 80 or so million debt reported at the time used to make his position untenable.
Bruce’s signings brought profit to the club. The Allams were very decent on the whole until they forgot that in business sometimes you have to spend money to make money.
