It’s even going to be hard to get a decent loan player in isn’t it , if we can’t compete on loan fees that the top clubs charge . Literally just getting the deadwood people are desperate to get off their wage bill
I hope he gets convicted in Turkey and the EFL can disqualify his ownership and instruct him to sell.
In all seriousness, non-league football is often a lot more fun - and cheaper. That’s why non-league attendances are booming.
Are we even allowed to offer a signing on fee to a free agent? Cos any half decent free agent will have other people after them , suppose could build that into their wages
Wait until low ball offers start coming in for our better players and we have to accept them for cash flow
Yeah. They avoided relegation under a manager that was an absolute car crash and another that had them doing nothing but hoofing long balls for target man Pedro to hopelessly chase after with an overlapping McLoughlin our main attacking threat. I think a better manager gets a lot more out of them.
Possibly more believable/likely than "Perhaps there were some finance administrative errors but I am sure the EFL will be understanding to our appeal and we are confident in our case" to be fair.
I like Acun and want him to succeed, but as i was reading his statement i just kept picturing this.. please log in to view this image
To be fair though. Pandur £5m Hughes £15m (based on Greaves) Belloumi £16m (based on KLP) That’s already £36m…. Then I’m out… It’s worth nowhere near £100m
