Yes we are top of the league and deserve to be there but a blip was always going to happen! I never thought we would be in this position so as long as we stay there we cannot moan! Certain players may not have performed recently but we cannot expect fringe players to come straight in and perform at the level we want! We have a strong 11 but lack in quality back up big time so we a doing brilliantly to have stayed top for soo long! I cannot understand how some fans can get on the back of some individuals surely they need our support not criticism!

Then it's simple! Just give the boys a break! best situation we've been in, in years and it's still not good enough! I don't get some people!
I give the players a break,in fact they don't need a break because they don't do too much wrong! it's the way that people get on their high horse when someone says one little bad thing about a game that i don't like.We can still have constructive views on a game,it doesn't always have to be happy clapping.I agree with you if it's over the top stuff but if it's a fan just saying it how it is i don't see the problem.
There are a lot of posters on here who do have great views and there are really good conversations but there is a minority that go too far and make the rest of us look bad!
Saints are already doing far better than I expected. I would be bitterly disappointed if we lost it from here, but I can't complain about lack of effort from the team.
That pretty much sums up my own views. I'll be disappointed if we don't get promoted, given we're almost halfway through the season, top of the table and three points clear, but we're doing far better than anyone of us expected. It's unfair to single any individual out for criticism (and, worse, abuse) - even Bialkowski's howler and general dodginess yesterday wasn't as if he deliberately set out to be crap on purpose.
People moaning about other people moaning, next it'll be people moaning about people that moan about moaners. End of the day yeah I do moan but I save it for when I get home. I have never moaned at a game and never will. The main reason why I have a go is because of our away form. I still stop having a go when the next match kicks off. Everyone has their own opinion and if you pay to watch Saints you have your right to moan within reason.
I have already said on here how I can understand fans that have have travelled all over the country, spending a lot of money, having a moan if the team puts in a sub standard performance away from home. Generally, Saints away fans are fantastic and back the team the whole 90 minutes, unconditionally and tbf the team haven't played badly too often away this season. It is some of the home 'fans' that get on my tits, the team have just gone on a winning run of 20 home wins, playing attractive, free flowing attacking football and it's still not good enough for them. We have been spoilt at home and now when we fall below the high standards the team has set they moan like little bitches.
